You don´t like caches like this one, ignore them. Congrats to you too. One day, we hope to find some of your caches in WV, and hopefully meet you there or here, in South Florida. Congrats to all monthly nominees. You are clearly fine people and fine geocachers. You are an inspiration to your communities. Keep up the great work. Thanks to the cachers and Reviewers who help to motivate us, and have been of great support to us over the years. The places we have been and the people we have met, have changed our lives forever. Thank you Groundspeak.

It was the support piers for a bridge over a river, used during the Civil War. It was a bit off the road, but no bushwhacking. I had to answer a question to claim a find. I would never have known it was there but for the virtual cache. Now all of the virtuals are Waypoints, and they are not as easy to deal with.
It has become about the numbers, and that is truly a shame.

Re: The Most Found Geocache in the World

I wonder how many of those logs are armchair logged.

Re: The Most Found Geocache in the World

Catalonia is not Spain!!! ||*||

Geocaching forever! :)

Re: The Most Found Geocache in the World

So there are caches at a place that is visited by thousands of people anyways.

The main thing I used to like about geocaching was that it took me to places that I would not have seen otherwise, not to give me an opportunity to sign a logbook at just another tourist spot.

Now it's all about the numbers, that is sad.

Re: The Most Found Geocache in the World

Maybe you are right, but it was just an append to my message, I don't think it hurts ;-) cheers

Re: Geocaching Caption Contest 38 – Win a Barely Coveted Prize

First they make us come along, then they won't even let us hunt!
